Jonathan Hynd is a British abstract artist who has lived and worked in Rome since 1987. A self-proclaimed “urban painter,” his artistic processes are defined by his experimental attitude, resourcefulness, and his interest in the ongoing excavations of both physical environments and the self.
The artist works independently in his studio on Via San Calepodio 5 00152 in the heart of the Monteverde–Gianicolense district, and is not currently affiliated with any galleries nor public institutions. Web viewers in Italy are encouraged to visit the studio-gallery space from the hours of 9.00 – 13.00 daily, or by appointment.
